Border Patrol

The conflict about drugs between Mexico and the U.S.A.
– in a serious game.

Yes, that’s right. During our Master Studies at the CGL, we had to do a game about “War”. We went to Mexico, and had a look (actually, I wish we had the time, and financial background to go there). Feel free to comment on the game, and the message!

The Game

Border Patrol is our serious game that was created during our class. It is our try to make the player aware of the circumstances around the US/Mexican border. The player decides to play a mexican refugee or a soldier at the border. The controls will be provided in-game. The art style is provided as a 2.5D and 3D world where the player will make a transition when crossing the border. There are 8 endings of the game depending on the outcome and on the play strategy.

If you like to know more about the War on Drugs, watch the Documentary by the Discovery Documentary Channel on YouTube.

And now…. Please be patient. The game is about 73mb large. You can also download from GameJolt for Mac OS X, Windows, and Linux.

If you are into Let’s Plays, you can have a look at those of Purely JamBront, and Psycho Wolfz.
